Is your teen or young adult struggling with social interactions, making friends, or handling challenging social situations?
We’ve got the perfect solution for you!
Introducing the Self-Paced Start Anytime PEERS® Course, designed specifically to help adolescents and adults with autism, ADHD, and social challenges build lifelong social skills that improve their confidence, relationships, and overall well-being.
How does improving social skills impact your child's friendships and confidence?
If you're unsure, you're not alone.
Many children and teens struggle with making and keeping friends due to a variety of factors, including anxiety, autism, ADHD, bullying, or difficulty reading social cues.
Challenges with social skills disproportionately affect neurodivergent individuals because their brains process social information differently.
These struggles are often misunderstood as shyness, awkwardness, or even "bad behavior," but they are actually signs of a need for targeted social support.
As a parent, watching your child feel isolated or excluded can be heart-wrenching and exhausting, especially when it feels like you don’t know how to help.
You’re not alone, and it’s not your fault.
There is a gap between what we know about social skills development and the resources available to families like yours. But we can close that gap—starting now!

Christine O'Leary
Founder of Social Skills Australia
Certified PEERS® Provider
As a fellow parent of adolescents with autism and ADHD, I’ve been where you are. For the past 14 years, I’ve navigated the ups and downs of raising children with social challenges, helping them grow into confident, capable individuals.
I discovered PEERS® when my son came to me for help with making friends and building social skills. We completed the PEERS® program together, and the transformation I saw in him was profound. From a boy who struggled with social awkwardness and isolation, he’s grown into a confident young man with a strong circle of friends, thriving in school, and now even working a part-time job. I understand how heartbreaking it can be as a parent to watch your child struggle, and I know how important it is to find the right support.
That’s why I became a Certified PEERS® Provider—so I can help other families experience the same life-changing results. With over 28 years of experience in communications and a background in the education and disability sectors, I bring a wealth of knowledge to every session. But most importantly, I’m passionate about creating a warm, fun, and supportive environment where your teen can thrive.
Social skills can be taught, learned, and practiced—and I’m here to help your child build these critical tools for life. I believe in a strengths-based, inclusive approach, and I can’t wait to see how your teen blossoms with the right support.

PEERS® - Social Skills for Building Friendships and Confidence by Christine O’Leary, Certified PEERS® Provider
Where does PEERS come from?

Dr Elizabeth Laugeson, developed PEERS®
An Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioural Sciences at UCLA (University of California) Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behaviour.
More than x30 peer-reviewed studies demonstrate the efficacy of this course - with adolescents consistently showing improvement on every measure of social skills and social engagement - as well as reduced problem behaviours, related social difficulties and social anxiety.
The gains are maintained well after the course has ended - a finding attributed to the involvement of a social coach, which can be a parent, another family member, a teacher or a support worker.

PEERS programme, totally worth it!
Our son’s social skills improved significantly and he’s more comfortable and willing to participate in social interactions. The monosyllabic teenager responses have been replaced with friendly chattiness which is lovely to witness. We also learned helpful tips on how to navigate social situations.
